Preconception Care
At SweetPea Fertility & Wellness, we have a gentle, integrative approach to support you as you prepare for pregnancy. Our goal is to help you optimize your fertility to support natural conception, minimize your risks of pregnancy complications (including miscarriage, gestational diabetes and pre-eclampsia), and enhance your overall pregnancy experience.

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a common hormonal condition affecting approximately 10% of women of reproductive age. It is characterized by hormonal imbalances causing problems with ovulation and irregular menstrual cycles (most often long cycles), and elevated male hormones (testosterone) causing hair growth and acne. PCOS can lead to various health issues including problems with fertility.

Miscarriage | Recurrent Pregnancy Loss (RPL)
The most overwhelming loss may be when a woman grieves a child they have given birth to, but the loss of a child she has carried in her womb is almost as great. What can be more devastating than the experience of pregnancy loss, at any stage? Women who miscarry will often go through the very same stages of grief as someone who has lost a loved one – because they too have.

Male Fertility
Our goal is not only to help couples conceive, but to help them have the healthiest baby possible … and it ALL begins with a healthy egg and a healthy SPERM. There are many factors that influence sperm health, and a thorough assessment should be considered if you are struggling with fertility challenges. Let's remember, that sperm is half of the equation so they must treated as half of the solution.

IUI | IVF | Embryo Transfer Support
At SweetPea Fertility, we are here to support you on your unique fertility journey whichever route you are destined to travel. Whether you are trying to conceive naturally, or with the help of an IUI & IVF procedure, the goal is always the same – a healthy baby!

A healthy baby begins with a good quality egg and a good quality sperm. Preparation for your IUI or IVF cycle should begin ideally 3-4 months before your cycle starts. We are here to support you with evidence based strategies that help improve the success of your cycle.

Hashimoto's Thyroiditis
Hashimoto's thyroiditis is an autoimmune disorder that affects approximately 1-2% of the population, making it one of the most common causes of hypothyroidism. In this condition, the immune system mistakenly attacks the thyroid gland, leading to inflammation and impaired hormone production.

Fertility Optimization & Natural Conception
Have you always dreamed that one day you’d become a parent when the timing was right? But now that the time has come, you never thought it would be so hard?

Together, we can take a closer look at the root causes that are influencing your fertility journey and implement solutions to optimize your journey.

Fertility Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a great treatment and a wonderful supportive therapy for fertility. It offers a natural, effective way to enhance reproductive health. Acupuncture promotes relaxation, balances hormones, and improves blood flow to the reproductive organs. It addresses some of the underlying factors that affect fertility. It is highly recommended as a gentle and integrative addition to your fertility journey, whether you are trying to conceive naturally or with the help of an IUI or IVF cycle.

Endometriosis
Endometriosis is a chronic condition that affects many women of childbearing years. It occurs when tissue similar to the lining inside the uterus grows outside the uterus, which leads to pain, inflammation, and potential challenges with fertility. If you experience both pain AND fertility problems, it's important to consider if endometriosis could be at play. Far too often, there is a delay in diagnosis. Advocating for evaluation and proper treatment can make a big difference on your fertility outcome.
